It all started Monday before physical training (PT) we did sprint intervals on the rubber track and I felt fine, minus a weird feeling below both rib cages, other than that I felt great.

Tuesday morning I woke up with some heartburn but did not eat anything out of the ordinary the previous night and only had one beer at 1700, and for PT we did well over 400 Push Ups but I still felt great.

The same symptoms were present Wednesday morning so I went to sick call and within ten minutes was wheeled from the clinic into the ER. I was hooked up and given an IV of Zantac for the heartburn and that really helped. When I was admitted my BP was off the charts and my CK level went from 192, 129, and then after my 0400 labs down to 109. My CKMB started out at 2.47, 1.17, and finally 0.79. I was given Lisinpril 20Mg.

It was determined that I did NOT have a heart attack but was suffering from overworked muscles and some severe heartburn. However, now I must take Lisinpril until I can get my BP back to a safe level. This will be somewhat difficult for me only because I do enjoy my Micro-Brewed beers and fine Scotches during the weekend. Before this incident I did drastically reduce my alcohol intake and noticed that I felt better, so I thought my regimen of vitamins and somewhat careful diet that I would not have to take BP medicine, and how wrong was I.
