Some pics from last weekend. Upper Antelope Canyon is on the Navajo Reservation. Its made of Navajo sandstone, eroded out by wind and flashfloods to mystic swirls and shapes. At mid-day when the Sun is overhead the light dances off the sand.

Here are some pics from inside, and a couple kilt pics of the Irelands National USA Kilts semi-trad I had on that day.





These kilt pics were taken just outside the upstream end of the canyon.

Most of the pics are taken looking up to the top slot opening of the canyon. Some of the haze is from the sand the guides toss into the air to better show the light shafts in the photos.













Sorry, I have no clue where the blue light in the above pic came from...maybe something to do with the sand.
