Material question???
New here first post ANYWAYS....
I am not currently kilted but desperately wish to be And being currently unemployed(like a ton of others these days...) AND a single father with two little boys at home buying a kilt is pretty much out of the question LOL BUT I am a fair hand at building things so I am going to give the x-kilt a try... anyways on to me question...
I know alot of people recommend cotton/polly twill for the x-kilts.... canvas works for great wearing but it wrinkles....... I am assuming thats a pure cotton canvas right??? what about a cotton/poly canvas(seems joanns has some on sale REALLY cheap at like 3.99 a yard and its 59" so I can get two kilts !!!!!
Anyways does the cotton/poly canvas wrinkle as bad as normal cotton canvas???
I guess the main reason I am asking is because the cotton/polly bottom weight twill is on sale at 3.99 a yard (43" wide) and they also have a 65/35 cotton/polly bottom weight canvas on sale for 3.99 a yard at 59" wide.... if the canvas is about as wrinkly as the twill seems to me to be the better buy???? or am I missing something....
BTW tanks fer the help!!
