On Friday, I was wearing my newly made RK X-Kilt (I know, I still haven't posted pictures, but every time I think to take them, it's in the wash. Soon, I promise!) Anyway, I was in line for a growler fill at a local brewery with my wife and her friend and a gentleman approached me. He asked where I got my kilt, and I told him I made it. At first he didn't believe me, but then he asked if I could make him one by next week. I said that I just can't sew that fast, but I pointed him to XMTS and suggested several of our favorite kilt makers. Hopefully, he'll find his way to the board and start posting.

I just couldn't believe that someone would like a kilt I made well enough to ask me to make one! I have no interest in doing so as a business, but I've been ecstatically proud of my kilt since then. It was one of those occasions that really make you hold your head high as a kilt wearer.
