Scolling down the photos from the Daily Mail there is the wee lad that was in the bridal party. He is wearing what appears to be the Balmoral tartan, so I would say that Her Majesty, must have been handing out the permission slips for the wedding.

Her Majesty also had her personal Piper there to pipe the Bride and guests as they arrived at the church and as they left the ceremony. He was not seen on TV, I don't think, but certainly heard on the broadcast.

On our local news hear in the Antipodes, we saw Sir Jackie Stewart and his wife leaving the church, not far behind him was a gentleman in a pair of trews, unfortunately his top half was obscured.

I believe that is HRH The Viscount Severn, son of TRH The Earl and Countess of Wessex. Certainly a grandson of The Queen can wear the Balmoral tartan!

Certainly the grandson of the Queen can wear the Balmoral tartan, I could, anyone could, as long long as I/they had permission from Her Majesty, The Queen, to do so.
