    As a dancer, I don't wear kilt pins as it's against the dress code for female dancers.

    I can honestly say that it's not the closing of the aprons that can give concern for modesty, it's the pleats. I've never seen a dancer embarrassed by the aprons coming apart, but have seen plenty of reasons why dancers are required to wear undergarments due to pleat swinging!

    Sometimes it should be required for fiddlers, too.
