    All you have to do is divorce need from necessity.

    Start looking for another Kilt and plan on when it will get here ,Then you will
    forget about the first Kilt until it show's up .

    Maybe shopping for some suitable, very fine knitting yarn, buying some really thin knitting needles, and making some appropriate hose to go with your impending kilt - then you will be glad to have so much time available before it arrives.

    Just a thought.
