Funny that this thread popped up when it did. I am a native New Englander and find it funny here in So. Cal. when the temperatures gets to 50F or below you starting seeing wool hats, mittens and real cold weather jackets. Saturday night was probably in the mid 50s but damp and relatively cool. I was wearing a kilt at a concert and at the intermission I must have been asked ten times if I wasn't absolutely freezing cold in a kilt. Little do the uninitiated know. (I was very comfortable)
