I think this idea is really worth a try.
Why won't deer hide "take a crease"?

The pleat "creases" on my Utilikilt leather and RKilt leathers are sewn in - so they hold.

I know that at the old location for Saint Andrews pub in NYC they had a buckskin Kilt hanging on the wall in a frame. I dont know if it is on display at the new location. I did not see it the last time I was there.

In the interest of lowland science and the amusement of the rabble, I shall take on this challenge and record my efforts for posterity, or hilarity...whichever comes first. BUT BE FOREWARNED !!!! This will take me a very long time. The skins are in the deepfreeze and are yet to be tanned, this too shall be a first time learning experience. I shall post photos as i progress.
Already thinkin of turning the tail into a sporran

I never get tired of making a fist... and it's out most of the time anyway.
