Re: First kilt - Utilikilt sizing/adjustability

I have found that Wrangler 13MWZ jeans are pretty true to inch size. With that as a standard, I wear a 33 waist. UK recommends buying an inch bigger than your jeans. I wear the 34 UK comfortably, but without a belt can remove it easily by simply pulling it down over my almost-not-there hips. I don't have a 33 UK to compare to, but I'm sure it would fit fine. The Wrangler 13MWZ are pretty easy to find and try on for reference.

I wear a 32 waist in jeans, 34 UK fits me fine. I'd even go up a size. Bigger is always safer, that's were a belt comes in handy..
I like a nice short parade that ends at a bar.

Actually, I wear those exact same jeans but find them to be vanity sized by about an inch. I am wearing 32s right now, even though I measure a 34. The 32s are a bit snug, but the 33s fit me about the same as my UK in 34.

Might be the case, Tobus. I lost a few pounds recently thanks to a big snow storm and other labor. My 33 Wranglers will also pull off without unfastening. My wife tells me pointedly, "You don't need to loose any weight! " I guess I'll have another beer.
