Actually, I wear those exact same jeans but find them to be vanity sized by about an inch. I am wearing 32s right now, even though I measure a 34. The 32s are a bit snug, but the 33s fit me about the same as my UK in 34.

Might be the case, Tobus. I lost a few pounds recently thanks to a big snow storm and other labor. My 33 Wranglers will also pull off without unfastening. My wife tells me pointedly, "You don't need to loose any weight! " I guess I'll have another beer.
