I'm with the 'can't believe they're too short' crowd, and I'm like wise having trouble with the historic hose being so different thing. Guess we really need to see some photos of this stuff. In fact I'd be interested to see some photos of any of the stuff you go on about.
And yeah, I know you're computer is 'steam powered' but sticking photos on the web ain't rocket surgery, I was the last person I know to get a computer, and I posted pictures on this forum for years with a crappy PC a friend was going to throw away and a dial-up connection.

Agreed. I have had a tough time making my hose look correct since it is so long. Would love to see someone on the opposite side post it up. Can you possibly email one of the admins of the site? Or anyone on this post? One of use could surely post the photo for you.
