    I think I've got it....



    While I don't think the State of Arizona tartan was intended to be autumnal - it works that way.



    Macdonald of Kingsburgh may work, but lots of orange



    The Macdonald of the Isles Weathered Hunting is probably closest to what I think you're looking for that I have to show.



    If you wanna slip more over to the wintery side - there's the Antarctica tartan....

    Unfortunately, even if I wasn't ga-ga over Brooke's kilt, I'd feel odd going with a "clan" tartan. I know it's not a huge deal, and not too many people have an issue with it, but I'm still more comfortable with the universals.

    However, I may have some pull with a high-ranking M(a)cDonald man. Not a clan chief, but the gent is pretty influential. He and I bonded over a bellyful of Hornitos and tamales in Cabo last November. Some may scoff, but I know what we shared that week was real.

    You can't fight what's right...
