    Good for you and have fun! (although I understand Elsie is quite the taskmaster!). Pleating to the stripe may be the easier way to go but with Elsie's supervision/input, why not try going to the sett?

    Hmmm... I really should learn how to pleat to the sett, shouldn't I? It's a crucial thing to learn.

    However 35 years of looking at (and wearing, off and on) military kilts has caused kilts pleated to the stripe to look like "real kilts" to me and kilts pleated to the sett to look "not quite right".
