Ditto. I gave them to my son and daughter in law, ... to give to me on Christmas. Aren't I thoughtful?

Very! My wife always has a hard time deciding what to buy me for gifts. So this year for Christmas I bought my own gift. When it arrives I'm going to just leave it in the shipping package, wrap it up and put it under the tree till Christmas. My wife knows it's coming, but I won't tell her what it is. I told her at least one of us should be surprised! :-)

Clearly, all great minds think alike. But, I didn't even tell my wife. She'll really be surprised!

When I open them, she'll instantly figure it out, but will be too imbued with the spirit of Christmas to slap me, ... not until New Years anyway.

I tend to do the same thing, Matt. It frustrates my wife to no end, as she likes to surprise people with gifts, but since I am already quite difficult to buy for anyways, she sort of welcomes the fact that I buy my own Christmas gifts!
