If you want to get a good/bad pun thread going it has to be on a topic such as bird names or cats. Or you can pun about kilts with fell-onious intend even if it is a true-waist of time.
And I agree with Tobus that a definition from the OP of affordable would be useful.

Fair enough. For the record, I was making a joke about a media figure's bombastic style and saying nothing about his or anyone's politics. Didn't think I was in danger of crossing the political line by making fun of a TV personality but I guess since he covers political topics, it's reasonable to be construed this way. I was just looking for a way to slip the play on words in anyway. Judging by the reaction, my gut for where the line is was off a little, so I took an abrupt turn back to the OP's question. Cheers

Nathan , your pun is understood . However , he is not just a media figure or a TV personality but rather a " political " media figure . Some like him , some don't .
Either way , the point is , when you bring up someone's name from the " political " arena and then call them names such as windbag or bombastic , it creates for an unpleasant and unnecessary situation here on XMarks . Political views / opinions are not discussed here .
It's understood that you meant it as humor , however , you brought up a " political " media figure and expressed an opinion about him . There's no law against that , it's just not allowed on this forum . Those type of comments whether they are pro or con about someone can lead to heated political discussions . That's why anything political is not allowed on XMarks and that's also why XMarks has been so successfull .
