    I always reccomend the best you can afford. If you are going casual, then just go to the sporting goods store and get some hiking socks or long athletic socks. No point special ordering something like that.

    However, if you are wanting actual kilt hose to wear then I would suggest something of quality. They will fit better and last longer. Personally, I am a fan of Lewis hose. Casually, i just wear hiking socks.
