You are clearly articulate and thoughtful, but you might either do more reading or study some books on usage ( it is utmost, not up most, you USED to have, not use to have, etc.) I don't know much about working in a call center, but it sounds like you are working with people who are not as bright as you are. The way to fix that in the end is to make sure that everything you do reflects your intelligence. Right now, your writing skills need some improvement. One day they will hold you back unless you work on them.
In theory, when your written work and the impression it makes reflect your true abilities you will be more likely to have a job that allows you the freedom of dressing as you wish. As long as people are having to say "yeah, but you know what he means" you are going to be stuck with the kind of people who are ruining your chances at wearing a kilt.
This sounds a little mean and I am sorry, but you need to fix some things. Good Luck with it.
i know i have an issue with grammar and spelling this has been a life long issue for me i appreciate the advice. I would like to inform you of this. I was homeless and alone from 10 years old i had to pay other homeless adults to pose as parents so i could go to school. i have severe dyslexia and had to teach myself how to read and wright. i did go all the way threw high school and collage on my own I have been trying to overcome this for my whole life. no disrespect just facts i am thankful for any advice on how to better myself i do need improvement this is fact. i also think i have come far from where i started i don't know of anyone who made it from literally the gutter at age 10 abused inches from death left in the dumpster with severe dyslexia. and slight brain damage. to a high school, collage graduate, with a family, a home owner, and, able to provide for my family. all by my self with no help from anyone just me and the fight to make it. I will look into the advise and i truly do appreciate the feedback.

P D, you're the kind of guy I most respect. What a horrible history; what a great ending - and I imagine it isn't really ended yet.
My life has been the opposite. I was able to achieve an education and decided to plough it back into the field. So, as a former school principal, I worked with a lot of kids in shoes like yours. As a current priest, I still do. You guys are the strong ones and the heroes when you can beat the odds.
Well done!

40+ years with the same Fortune 225 company is where this comes from.
Their turf, their money, their rules.
People from personnel / HR are usually whelmed and harassed and frustrated. Never "F" with them. Ever. Never. Be nice; they hold the blank pink slips.
Show up clean and sharp and not kilted. Chinos are this personal alternative NO BLUE JEANS EVER!
To work on self-grammar, copy some bits from classics. Look at them, absorb them. Own them.
Read the dictionary for leisure.
Best of fortune.

As a fellow sufferer from an LD, I feel some of your pain. You however are an insparation. You overcame so much more and even with the issues we can still understand what you have writen. I agree with James Hood on the classics. By trying to write as if you lived 100 years ago you can get away with a lot as your writing will become more formal and you will be looked at as serious about the job. I use this in almost all my daily writing and it makes a huge difference.
Keep it up and you'll go farther.
