Still have 3/4 of that one on the shelf. Taste is nearly identical to the A'bunadh, several bottles of which have passed through my hands over the last few years, except for that extra added finish that lingers from knowing you just drank from a one of a kind bottle that you filled from the cask yourself. Nothing better than a great dram with an even better memory.
I shall keep my eye out for it here and apprise ye of the price when I find it, to see if shipping it might save you at least a little bit.
Jeff: Becoming an "official bottler" must have been fun. Would love to do that sometime, but I would probably never open the bottle. They'd have to put it in my coffin.
I generally put a little water in my A'bunadh, mostly to cut the alcohol burn, or even drink it on the rocks. To me it has a variety of rich flavors dominated by the sherry in the finish. It's a great after-dinner malt.
DrinkUpNY wants $81 for it, and then there's the shipping. It used to be free, if you bought at least $100 worth of booze, but now it is very expensive.
So please, by all means, if you find a better buy please let me (us) know.

I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.
