Gentlemen - I think the more interesting fact from the OP is that he has found/discovered a like-minded relative (independent of the whether he is a second cousin or a first cousin 1 time removed) who enjoys wearing a kilt as much as the OP. I'm sure the OP and his relative can now bond a bit closer over a dram of Scotch while each wears their favorite kilt.

    Chewse,

Thanks. You are very correct. Not sure I can enjoy the Scotch though. I would still have to drive home, and I am a light weight.

    removed

The last family reunion I attended in my home town (1970) included 500 family members at the City Park, 300 by blood and the rest by marriage. The dilemma of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc. removed was debated all day. I moved away from N.C. in 1974 and have been "removed" due to the unpopular action of my leaving. The way I'm referred to these days are, "my favorite or kissing cousin (by the girls)". I can live with that.

I understand the "removed" part. Keep up with kissing whomever you can.

Tom: Sounds like an affinity for kilts runs in your family's jeans.

I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.
