Do you mean your own design of tartan? I am not sure about that. I didn't contact the weaver direct, as I placed the order with my kilt maker, McCalman Kilts:-

The proprietor, Laura, was very helpful. She asked around at a number of the bigger weavers, but none of them made the tartan I was after. She had made a kilt in the tartan I wanted for a previous customer, who had supplied his own tartan cloth. She still had a few bits left over, so she sent a piece off to a smaller weaver that she deals with, and he was able to weave an 8 yard length (single width) in 15 ounce wool. Despite the effort involved by both Laura and the weaver, the kilt only cost me £295, and the quality is excellent.
It may be worth E-Mailing Laura if you want a custom tartan kilt made.
