Imho, (I've been waiting for an opportunity to use that!), Cape Breton is the source of some of the most moving music in the world. I am planning to go there in the Autumn to take in some. Of course I will bring my pipes. Thanks for the post.

I feel that opinion is very well founded. The amount of talent( generations deep, in some families) is astounding, for such a small little piece of the universe. I hope to spend a little more time there in the future, hopefully going up for the annual Celtic Colours festival , which I have never managed to do yet. Hope you enjoy your visit

Good music by talented musicians. It's a shame none are wearing the MacNeil of Barra tartan. (See my avatar for an example of that tartan.) Otherwise, a fine representative of the Clan and the Island of Barra, even if they aren't actually from Barra.
