Kilt Belt (question)

Just an observation - the 'correct' belt for day/casual wear has a prong buckle. The plate buckle is more properly worn over certain very formal jackets. Wear what you want but at least you should know.

Bravo Robbie! From where I stand it is bad form to wear anything else other than a prong type buckle for general kilt day wear-----and informal evening wear too------I suspect that the plate buckle for day wear could be another kilt hire one style fits all type thing, or perhaps, a trans-atlantic innovation?

I'm just in a silly mood. It's the wrong color. It wouldn't go with my kilt.
