I`d like to know how that works out. It seems like a lot to be stuffing in your hose.

Now the questions come. Will the wax discolor your hose? I think I see the inner fasteners of the sheaf are inset but do they touch your skin? (I'm thinking of scratches on your calf) I like the fit of the blade and leather.

I wore it around last night a little, and it's really comfortable. It doesns't load the hose or garter, but sticks to my calf and rides like part of my skin (this is why I didn't dye or wax the inside surface).
As for the color, once the dye dries, I rub as much beeswax onto it as I can, then roll up some canvas and rub it hard and fast to work the wax in. this brings some of the color off, but after I wax and rub a second time, the color doesn't go anywhere. Now If it gets soaked through from the outside, it may leave some brown on my hose, but it'd have to rub through the wax first.
The chicago screws are smooth on the backside, as well as being pulled slightly below the surface of the leather; they're a non-issue against my calf (although they may leave a little circle after a day's wear).
