A very nice closeup photo there, thanks!

When I made Royal Stewart bows for my Black Watch piper's kilt I only had this photo to go on

I guesstimated the width and length.

I used 40mm ribbon from Beresford in the UK.

I also do "living history". Here I am at Fort MacArthur, in my impression of a PM of the Black Watch in khaki drill 1908-1939. The Pipe Major and Pipe Sergeant wear Royal Stewart bows (which the regiment calls "rosettes") on their Royal Stewart kilts.

I also used Beresford ribbon, the wide 70mm stuff, for my drone ribbons.
