    Here is the Quaich!

Gentle folk, men and ladies all,

I have this evening taken the Quaich to her last engagement while in my keeping on this visit to eastern Australia. We have just returned home from the Hunter Valley Branch St Andrews Day Social, a popular event in our Scottish Country Dancing calendar.

I will be ready to send it on in a few days once I have worked out how to get the images out of the iPad and onto paper, to attach them into the Quaich's Logbook.

The burning question then: to whom do I send it next?

    Best regards,
    Grizzled Ian

I'd request it, but alas I'd need to find things to do with it... I'm hosting a Saint Andrew's event tomorrow at my home, would be a great event...

I will do my best to entertain the coveted quaich should somebody send it my way! If there is nobody in the cue for it pm me for an address to send it!

We would love to see the pictures if you can post them here on XMTS.

If any members are in contact with Grizzled Ian in Australia -

Ian appears to have gone missing. He last logged on 10 days ago but the last time he posted was 22 Dec.

The last update he posted on the Quaich was the 28th of Nov. and said that he had just returned from his last engagement with our Quaich.

I have attempted to contact him via PM and email but have had no replies.

If anyone is in contact with Ian or any member in Australia who is close enough to Lake Macquarrie to see him, please ask him to return our Quaich to me as soon as possible.

Ian has now had the Quaich since last year's Kilt Kamp in Aug. and after 7 months you can imagine that I am beginning to worry.

Humm, that does not sound good, let us hope that nothing is amiss with Ian, or, the quaich.

I have just heard from Grizzled Ian. Both he and the Quaich are well.

From what I understand he is currently in Hobart, Tasmania.

He is having trouble getting his photo to print or download from his Ipad so will send them to me so I can post them for him.

The Quaich is on her way back to me. If anyone would care to host her please let me know.
