Great stories! I've had 3 occasions:

1) When I bought my 1st kilt a few years back, wife & were going downtown in March a few days before St. Patrick's day an I commented, "I should wear my kilt!". She advised against but then as soon as we got downtown (Huntington Beach, CA) we saw a guy on the street wearing a kilt! I don't think I've seen another kilted guy (outside of St. Patricks Day) in HB since. I should've wore my kilt!

2) We were in Las Vegas, I didn't bring the kilt to make packing easier & then walking between hotels on the strip we ran into a guy kilted. I should've wore my kilt!!

3) In Cancun, MX last year - we stayed at a couple-only all-inclusive. Of course I didn't' bring my kilt because....it's Mexico. We met a nice newlywed couple there from Scotland and of course the guy brought his kilt & was planning to go out clubbing in Cancun in his kilt. I should've brought my kilt!!!

Honestly, it happens more than it should. I've never felt like I shouldn't have worn my kilt.
