Couldn't agree more with this..
The fact is,- the kilt is still (rightly or wrongly) considered to be a sexual statement.
That can be great if you happen to like that, and if you understand that everything else, comfortable underwear, top and sandals are also just items of clothing.
I also found some absolutely beautiful hand made women's sandals (called unisex)with it, and they look simply july_2339.jpgstunning!
It is also for me a fashion statement.
If you are fighting a rearguard action against the bad back and a filthy dirty job where you get routinely showered in sh...t, then you have the right to wear just whatever you might like.
It can take you a lot closer to nature, and of course if you go to France, it will always be men who ask what is underneath.
(I usually reply "the complete central heating system and quite a lot of taps valves and hoses to go with it..."
