    Kilted in Halifax.

One might think there maybe an opportunity to score something unique kilt wise in Halifax, New Scottland but not very likely. The good hadmade goods are all in Cape Breton there is some very fine tailoring on the island.

That was as I had expected, Halifax being more of a tourist trap sort of port. Thanks for the heads-up all the same.

I was also informed that you had been seen by many of the locals, and more than a few cruisers, but it seemed I was about a half hour behind you. The lady selling tartan goods at the cruise market said you'd stopped by twice (she was surprised that I knew the NB, NS, and Maple Leaf tartans).

Met the pipe major of the St John pipe band, and received nothing but positive comments in both St John and Halifax. I wore my Leatherneck tartan kilt which caught the attention of nearly everyone.
