I could almost see myself buying the black jacket with gold piping and putting my medals and other things on it for when I'd want to show off my military service. But yet I'd probably never actually do that. Also, no idea what kind of shoes and hose I'd wear with such a thing...

Here's another source for you . You can select pocket styles , lining or no lining , cuff styles and collar heights .

I could dig it in Army blue with infantry blue piping. I may have to drive over to Higgins and see one actually in captivity. Between Higgins and Marlow White I could probably get a really natty one made up.

I'm going to have to do some cogitating, but there is someone in Canada who sells these, and I think they have them in linen. I just can't remember who right now.

Marlowe White is a bit pricey for me. I was looking for a black Eisenhower jacket that I could wear to mix it up from my Argyll and I kept seeing the first responder one they have for almost $300.

My blues come from there, but they were provided for me when I was on the Honor Guard. Really top quality, but very pricey. So now I'm trying to find another place that would sell a black Eisenhower that I could wear with a shirt and tie.
