    It's not exactly the same pattern. The Colquhoun tartan has the double black lines in the same field (i.e. on the same side of the white line) as the wide black stripes. Whereas this mystery tartan has the double black lines on the other side of the white line (i.e. where the red single line is in the Colquhoun tartan).

    Having looked again I see that it's not Pollock but with the K and W reversed and N (gray) for the G. This was recorded on the STA master database pre-2002 as Unnamed C20th sett having been sent for ID my an American gentlemen. I wonder if it was the same kilt?
