I agree, but how can you really explain it? They either don't believe, only want to hear about the gore, are critical or judgmental of you, your actions, and do not care about ramifications of what it did to you, or in some cases will lecture you about your actions...so I don't even bother. I listen to the war heroes, the thank the Lord I am still here. I guess I feel much better around veterans than I do those who never served.
