Poutine is readily available. I don't know of anyplace local that has Tim Tams , so if you would be bereft without them, perhaps you should bring some.
[Note: After doing some research on Tim Tams, found these possible sources in the area: http://timtamslam.ca/where.php ]

All good I'm not much of a Tim Tam eater....
However it is one of those request made by hosts of Aussie guests
"Bring the Tim Tams"
Have you not discovered Tim Tams??
Oh I'm 90% going for the traditional class with Barb

My wife loves Tim tams, they are available here in BC at some grocery stores. The dark chocolate ones are a favourite but hard to find ☹️
Great with afternoon tea, before evening scotch 😀

The tyranny of distance.... we in the Southern Hemisphere can't just decide a few weeks in advance to attend Kilt KAMP unfortunately, so....
Yes I've just booked my flights.
All this is rather flexible but does this seem ok?
- Australia to Honolulu 1-2 nights stay
- Honolulu to Seattle maybe 1 night stay
- Seattle to Victoria via clipper ferry with a tour of the Butchart Gardens & a nights stay
- change to a B&B in Fernwood
-Kilt Kamp
- exploring the West Coast of the USA until I'm broke, bored, or over travelling
- fly from somewhere on the west coast to Hawaii stay a few nights
- Hawaii to Australia
Advice, suggestions and other information most welcome.

Breaking up that very long flight from Australia is a very good idea. You are not only dealing with a 6 or 7 hour time zone difference across the date line but a total swap of seasons. You will leave home in your winter and arrive here in the height of our summer.
A bit less jet lag if you spend 2 days in Hawaii.

Wow, you are very organized! I am impressed. The itinerary seems good. One of us can pick you up at the Clipper ferry dock in Victoria.

Yes, I know, older post. Just offering trivial information.
Lady Grey...should you make it through the San Francisco Bay area during your travels, Tim Tams are available at the local Target, or Cost Plus stores.

I would be a bad guest if I didn’t bring them over.(it’s kinda expected)
However I am hoping to Amtrak the West Coast after Kilt Kamp so you may see me in SF!
