I've been thinking about your reply, and must admit I'm a bit conflicted on whether to buy shoes from Samuel Windsor. They have some fairly good deals going on, and I'm intrigued by their "Prestige country boots" to replace some old Ariat low-rise laceups that I've completely worn out.
These are from the SW USA site which are not as good of a deal as they have in the UK, but the shipping from the UK makes that a deal-killer.

They appear to be well-made, and with a Goodyear welt they can be re-soled if it becomes an issue. For under $100, I'm very tempted. Does anyone own these boots? Are they good quality?
