Pleats on a new wool kilt

Since my concern was pleat quality and my lady's concern was having a large area of the tiny apartment dedicated to pressing for a relatively long time, I split the difference by pinning, then basting, the pleats where I wanted them and then taking the basted kilt to the high-end cleaners with instructions to only press the pleats to set them and sharpen the creases.

Will you let us know how it turned out? Preferably with photos?
