Now I have a longer lower piece and three straps around the bone that look like tie-wraps...
Third time this hip has had surgery. 2 months of physical therapy, still use a walking stick for balance.
A few weeks after the surgery, I started remaking a kilt that was too large, then made my first new kilt. Kept me busy! Finally getting to the point 4 months later tgat I am becoming more comfortable doing things in my workshop again. Kitchen cabinets for my son's geodesic dome house. (So many angles!)
I'm 69 and scared skinny of falling and shattering my titanium hip joint connection.
It sucks getting older but and my sweetie reminds me it's likely better than the alternative.
... maybe ...
