    Welcome, Mike.

By the way, everyone has some Scots blood, methinks.

But it's not a prerequisite for wearing and enjoying the kilt.

Welcome to our little corner of the internet. You'd better watch that Jeff Guy. He's a very devious salesman. He'll do things like referring you to another kilt manufacturer if he doesn't make what you're looking for, and standing behind the ones he does sell to you.

    Well, thank you everyone.

I guess the next point (rather than impulse buying, sorry Jeff) is to start getting assessories. What's first, a belt?

    Mike,

    Welcome!

You don't need much in the way of accessories with a modern kilt. Yes, a belt is the next thing you should get. If your kilt has more than one pocket, you don't need a sporran. An optional accessory for you to consider is a kilt pin.

I think the story has changed with time! When I first suggested to Zeliemike that he post his story to Xmarks, he seemed a little shaken that the redneck crowd at his home club has such a strong reaction to the kilt. The funny thing is that I've been there to play darts a half dozen times in my kilt, and it was fine. But the good ol' boys had a real problem seeing one of their own in a kilt!

The best part is that Mike was just kickin' *** the whole time. (He's one hell of a shot these days.) Wish I had been a fly on the wall to see it!
