I know where I can get an Argyll and tie quick for semiformal ... but I was thinking casual myself.

I was shooting for casual myself...
I am not yet sure about dinner. I am guessing that my wife will have something else planned, such as an early dinner with her parents. I will be there for the beer, primarily...LOL

Disclaimer
I would just like to state as the person that started this thread, since I live in harrisburg, I haven't talked to Darcy McGee's or anything. So we will just have to find each other when we get there. Hosehead is a tall guy with a shaved head, and I am six four with spiked hair so we should stand out a little.

I may be going out on a limb here but you may also want to look for the guys in the kilts.

Directions from Peace Bridge
Darcy McGee's Irish Pub
257 Franklin Street
Buffalo, NY 14202
(716) 853-3600
Take peace bridge to states, take ramp toward porter avenue,
Turn left onto Porter avenue
Turn Right onto niagara Street
Turn left onto West Huron street about a mile
Turn left onto Franklin street it is a few blocks away.
Darcy McGee's is on the right just past the corner of chippewa. It should take six minutes from the dridge depending on traffic.
If you need directions from the rainbow bridge or anything else please just let me know.

Millar, you beat me to it! I was thinking the same thing. Who care what you and hosehead look like, you will be wearing kilts! :-D Someday, that might not be enough to pick you out, but today it still is!

In my defense
Yes I know the kilts will stand out a little but my thought is that in a crowded bar when looking for someone you have a better chance of seeing the top of two tall guys heads, than what they are wearing.
As a side note I will call Darcey's tomorrow and see if I can set it up to get a table or something, no promises, but I will give it a shot.

I just wish I was going to be in Buffalo next week! Then you could add another 6' 3" guy to the entourage. With that many tall, kilted gents in one place, they might think that a Scottish basketball team was in town!

I'm 6"2 and my eyes are blue and ....don't you go there...
It's a bit of a drive for me...but hey I've been known to drive down to Philly for a beer.
Depends on how many kilts I get made this week.
Thanks for the directions possingk....
