Good to know...I'll add them to the running list of people to do business with....

My first pair from them (A Hogmanay present from the MIL) were oatmeal with green dicing on the cuff. (Coquet pattern)
My second pair were off-white cable-knit hose to wear with a Aran sweater I have.

I went with the oatmeal and cable. I thought they would look nice with my dark Keith modern. I would love to see your's with the dicing! That was the identical thing I was thinking of doing(same colours and all) but went with the cable.

I've got two pair on order myself. I ordered the steel grey and the oatmeal, with red and yellow garters for some color. They are a bit pricey, but if they last a while they will be cheaper in the long run. I also had to get them made for 20" calves and Victoria said it would be no problem.
I was going to order some last year, but something happened to the computer and I just forgot about them.
Victoria says they should be done in a fortnight or faster.

Ok, here we go. First is a pic of the AUW hose, next a set of piper hose, and then a set of regular store boughts. Please note the fold over on the piper hose before I put them on. Notice it is about as wide as the AUW hose.
Now in the next pic, AUW hose on the left and piper hose on the right. Notice the fold over on the piper hose are now about 3 finger widths wide and cutting off the feeling to my lower legs. AUW hose, looks great fits great.
So, I think they were worth the money

P.S. Note the tops on the store boughts. They are beyond stretched out. They have no elasticity left.

Love em already! 19.5 just sitting around, 20ish after I've been using them. Those regular hose kill me at the games. Your toes must turn blue

I just got my socks from them yesterday. They are very nice and not tight at all, yet snug enough that they should stay up well, although I'll usually wear garters and flashes with them.
I got the oatmeal and steel grey, as these would coordinate with most kilts. I plan to get even more color options in the future. Only one or two pairs at a time though, as they are expensive.
