That's a fine looking kilt O'Neille!
I never knew of the existence of saffron kilts until I joined up here.

Exceptional!
Nice kilt. I might buy a saffron myself. It is one of those colors that may be more Scottish than Irish. Some Highlanders were said to wear clothes the color of heather for camoflauge.

Thanks for the math on the wool weight O'Neille
Jerry, you out there? Is he right? Thanks,

I blanked this one out...
I made a few japes about some people I know who have marginal Irish heritage, but have only started to care about it after a few bands that play Rock/Irish folk became popular here in the US (they are quite good bands though). I was purposefully being a pain, and was contacted by a forum member politely reminding me that some of the reasons behind being offended by orange/saffron kilts are potentially still quite sensitive.
So, please accept my apologies, I meant no offense to anyone on the forums, or to any number of people with marked Irish heritage, or to the many proud Irish folk.

Looks great! I've got my Saffron hanging in the closet and haven't worn it out yet until I get a 2.5" belt made for it. THe 24" length really needs a proportionate belt.
You and Turpin stylin' in saffron are making me jones for the leather to arrive. If it's not here tomorrow I may choke on my own tongue

Wonderful picture. I'm expecting my SWK Irish Saffron today or tomorrow. Also have an SWK solid green. It makes for a great "Irish" look when worn with an orange polo, cream hose, and green flashes. The shirt, kilt, and hose form the Irish Tri-Color.
