Psst...Hey Buddy Need A Saffron Fix
So I got myself a fix. My dealer hooked me up with some saffron, it's really great stuff and really feels good when you need it bad. It was waiting at the front door when I got home. So, I took it out to let it breath, and did a quick buckle up with the pleats tacked down. It fit great and the PCS suggested that we go out to dinner so I could wear it. I congratulated her on her insight, snipped the tack threads, gave the wrinkles a quick steam and put on some hose flashes, and brogues and we were gone. I Decided to let Gerry see it as he is from Antrim and would appreciate the saffron. He wasn't in yet but dinner was great, and I got to have dinner with my favorite date and photographer.

It's my first shadow tartan and it feels great. I think it will become my first choice for Irish pubs in the near future. It's just nice enough to wear with hose and brogues when you're wanting to dress a little more nicely than casual and boots. O'Neille

Yeah, well thanks to you mentioning it the other day... I'm now fiending in a bad way. I'll have one ordered this week. I need a fix in a BAD way! Plus, I need another Irish kilt. ![Smile](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
How's the texture compared to worsted wool?

Is that the SWK heavyweight shadow saffron?
Looking sharp. I have kicked around the idea of getting a black shadow tartan more than once, and probably will in the future.
Very cool.

We're going to have to have a SouthEast New Mexico kilt night. Got any nice pubs? O'Neille

That would be pretty cool. Hmm. Well there's no actual "pubs" in town. There's a sports bar that serves a couple types of Irish stout. But, that's about the closest you got around here... at least in Hobbs. Hmm...

Thanks, I showed her your post. She smiled and gave me a hug. Then while walking away she said "I don't even know if he has a hat, there's not one in his picture." That sound you hear is me chuckling. O'Neille
