    thanks guys! i live in between cr an waterloo. my family has a lot of different heritages, but our celtic ancestry is scotch-irish (i think!).and i need a translation on what pour1malt said!
    my brouge isnt that good yet laddie! i look forward to gettng more kilts as the one i have now really sucks. i slap myself for not throwing the thing away. i have more fabric so im going to have another one made by someone else, hopefully before christmas. i dont know how to use a machine myself. so tell me more about yourselves please and definately more about kilts!

    KWaS, on this forum there is a pattern for a (I think) non tartan kilt called the XKilt by AlanH, it's been made several times by different folks and all make good comments. Link here.

    Being younger and not having enough money for you kilted ambitions sucks (I know from experience) but it'll make getting kilts all the sweeter. Perhaps checkout Stillwater economies and USA Kilts casuals as 'cheaper' kilts. Might give you something to save for.
