I can see a hint of tartan lines in it. Must be one of those novelty tartans.
Nice pics. It's always good to see a guy enjoying a new kilt.

It's named after the Black Isle, a peninsula north of Inverness between the Cromarty and Dornoch firths.

You are more than welcome Derek. However, I hoped you were going to do something about the poor exposure and colour rendition (and straightening the images) before posting them!!
I can assure the assembled brethren, however, that your Black Isle is one superb kilt - and, yes, it does have a 'hidden' tartan that shows up only when the light catches it in a certain way.
