Howdy from Western Kentucky
Hello all...
I have been lurking here for a few days, trying to soak up as much as I can, and can easily see that a few visits won't get it.
I hail from the barren wastes of far western Kentucky. I am a reenactor of the 42nd Royal Highland Regiment, from the 1770s (the American Rebellion ). I am one of those valiantly trying to keep the history and spirit of the Highland Regiments alive. Haven't been active at events, but I hit a lot of the local schools, doing demonstrations and giving talks on the period.
I frequently go kilted around these parts, and have yet to be assaulted. I have gone to the local Highland Games fairly often.
For a job, I am a 911 dispatcher for the local communications center, and if I have disappeared for a while, that is usually where you can find me. I see there are some kilties from the Memphis area, and I am only 2 1/2 hours from Memphis, so I may try to get to a kilt night if I can get off from work. Is there anyone close to the Paducah-Murray Kentucky area?
And, if you can't guess from my handle (kg4zmf), my other hobby is amateur radio. I just can't get enough of being on the air, I guess! Until we meet again on the boards, I have the honour to remain...

Will the Lexington area work? Welsome.
There are still pics of my last visit to Paducah, kilted of course, floating around waterfoewler.com and a couple of other boards.
