help! i need kilt patterns!

thanks guys! keep them posts coming! i can use all the help i can get. as to what i want in a kilt, i am hoping for a modern one. i have no objections to a traditional, but i dont know enough yet. im going to go for modern, so that i can use any fabric i want. or can you use a non-tartan fabric for a trad kilt? im not sure. and yes once i get my kilt done, i will get you all pics! keep the ideas coming! They are actually Quite traditional, just different from what most see today.
