I had my first taste of the stuff last weekend and I love it. It's a blend, but it's all malt - no other grain alcohol mixed in. It's 24 years old. My, it's tasty.
It's pricey stuff and I won't be drinking it often. I was given a bottle as a thank-you gift. A generous gift it is!
wee correction Bob...
JW Blue is a very guid blend- but it IS a blend...
there is grain alcohol in it....
JW Green is the yin they mak that is a' malt (vatted malt- no single malt)
Blue contains some very auld an guid malts... shame they mix them wi' grain....
some malts included arr- Talisker, Cragganmore, Linkwood, Caol Ila...
fur the price- yur better aff buyin a bottle o' each o' the malts that went in it....
