    We're over the magic figure, now, aren't we?

    Best regards

    Modify request

    After reading Alan's thread about measuring for length, and assuming that the sett of the 16 oz w/b slightly larger than the 14 oz (perhaps 6.5") I'm revising my request downwards to 4 meters from 4.5.

    I'll edit my original commitment post to avoid confusion.

    Here is the current tally as I see it. If I have forgotten anyone just say so:

    H. Hastings = 4.0
    Splash4 = 5.0
    Retro Red = 2.0
    Ruantdh = 5.5
    Cloves = 4.0
    Warhoover = 5.0
    Turpin = 4.0
    Way2Fractious = 3.0
    sjrapid = 9.0
    Discobubba = 4.0
    Steeplechase = 3.0
    Mark Keney = 5.0
    Panache = 4.0
    McWage = 3.0

    TOTAL = 60.5

    I may increase mine by 2 more meters. Not sure at his time.

    But we are over the 50 meters threshold.

    I'm still in but I need to decide if I need to up my order to 3.5 or 4 (formal knife pleat) or reduce it to 2 (box pleat) will confer with my kiltmaker Friday.

    Cheers

    I can relate Panache, thinking of adding 2 more meters myself, so I can have one of each ! I am seriously leaning that way. I guess Steve will need to be the one to finally say lets go, since he is the one in contact with the weaver and he is busy I am sure.

    "Confirm"-that's an interesting way of saying-"I need to beg for money for another pretty frock"! I cannot deny my love anything he wishes. We're in for 4 meters.

    Be well,

    Be well,

    What a great response! Panache, you are one lucky man!
