    Well Finally

So I'm out today at a community forum...about 75 locals meeting with ideas to improve our little town. I'm wearing my Scott Modern Red handsewn from Kathy Lare, hose, flashes, sporran, nice shirt....not a comment...two and a half hours of socializing, speaking, wandering over to get chips and dip...no one made a comment or said anything about my being kilted.

Then finally...went to dinner at our local Mandarin place with a buddy. When we finish and we're walking back up front to pay the bill a Navajo father subtly points me out to his son. I caught the gesture and slowed down so the boy could get a good look.

Dang....I was tempted to thank the dad.

Funny how what used to seem to irritate me I can also miss when its gone. I think I qualify for all three of Mike1's catagories.
