Boring
Just realized I cannot remember the last time someone made a comment, or asked about my kilts.
No explaining of Celtic culture and heritage, no matching wits, no smart comebacks, no meeting interesting people. My kilts have become a yawner in this little town.
I've a loud MacLeod Semi-trad on order from Rocky...when that comes in...if that doesn't do it...I may need to revert to pants for a while to recharge local interest.
Serious, its been a couple weeks since anyone's said anything...that includes at work, around town, tourists...go figure.
I still love my kilts and wear them for comfort...just finding I miss some of the fun of meeting strangers and chatting about kilts.

You might have to paint your face blue and carry a sword, if that doesn't get people to notice you (let alone the police) I don't know what will.

Or you might have to switch to a min-kilt? No, that is just wrong.... Never mind.
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

Oh, tell me about it, Ron!!!!
There's one thing I will not do, however, and that is revert to pants (trousers) ........... for one thing, with four more kilts currently on order, I cannot afford to buy any!!

Ron,
Can I interest you in a Saran Wrap Kilt?
Now if that won't get people in Page talking nothing will. Of course they will only be talking about you, not to you. Then again, SHE may finally notice you and strike up a conversation. Then you will need one of my t-shirts - I'M UP HERE!

Jeez Steve...what's the city of Page ever done to you to deserve such punishment from me??
Riots in the streets and people run screaming in terror....

I'll bet that Saran Wrap will really hold a pleat, though!

Loud MacLeod Kilt Suit.
Kilt, jacket, tartan sox, tie, the whole works.
Page would suddenly have a population of 1.
