I'm a big guy. 6 foot 2 and weigh in over the 400lbs mark. The biggest problem with most trousers in the 54" waist is the rise. With a huge belly, most pants tend to tighten ahem "down below" and are really uncomfortable.

I only own a UK mocker in black(so far), but with their current shortage....oh well.

Any advise on where to get an affordable casual kilt for a big fellow?

As I'm sure others will tell you,StillWaterKilts. I know they have some models up to 52" and they will fit big. I know because I have one in Saffron. Go to the casual kiltmakers link on the left of the screen to check them out. Good prices and great shipping.

    OK.

Fulled the trigger on Irish National Economy, matching flashes, and a nightstalker sporran. Now let the waiting begin.

Shan't be much of a wait! If Jerry doesn't have your kilt, flashes and sporran to you by the end of the week I'd be surprised. One of the many nice things about SWK is the very, very rapid delivery.
